DESCRIPTION
  • Responsible for commissioning services on complex manufacturing support systems to ensure compliance with project design and installation specifications.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary project team executing a project specific commissioning plan, including reviewing and verifying systems design, installation, functional performance, and reliability
  • The role focuses on design optimization, system interoperability, and maintainability to improve building and systems performance, reliability, health, sustainability, and energy consumption reduction.
  • Works closely with technical and subject matter experts, manages the core commissioning team, and coordinates with the construction team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to commissioning.
  • Develop and interpret key performance indicators for senior project management, helping to track the project’s progress.
  • Maintaining the project schedule and ensuring the commissioning process meets the project’s requirements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including commissioning reports, punch lists, and test records. Track issues to resolution, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Work closely with facilities engineers, maintenance teams, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of commissioning activities. Interface with equipment vendors and service providers to validate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide clear technical reports, presentations, and updates to leadership and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • 5 to 7 years working in the automotive industry
  • Must have electric infrastructure knowledge
  • Project Management
  • Automation Knowledge (robotics and PLC)
  • Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
  • Team coordination
  • Safety compliance knowledge
  • Soft skills, time management, results oriented and problem solving, proactive, customer focus, effective and assertive communication, teamwork, adaptability and flexibility
  • Fluent English is a must
  • German desired
  • Willing to travel within Mexico
