DESCRIPTION
  • Provide expert support to the project team in planning and implementing assembly equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate onsite preparation activities for final assembly projects, ensuring readiness and alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including general contractors, to ensure effective communication and execution.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all project processes, plans, and implementation activities. ​Support coordination and control of multiple assembly planning activities across cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee and support conveyor system planning, installation, and integration within the assembly environment.
  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly equipment and workflows.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality, completeness, and compliance standards​
REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Automotive design engineer, Industrial engineer, Mechanical engineer or related.
  • Proven experience in final assembly projects, particularly in onsite preparation and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and site coordination within manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience coordinating multiple activities within assembly planning and project environments.
  • Solid understanding of plant engineering processes, including equipment installation and commissioning. 
  • Experience with assembly equipment and conveyor-related project processes.
  • Strong expertise in automation systems, including PLCs and corporate/industry standards (e.g., VASS6).
  • Systems: JIRA, KVS, Cofluence 
  • Knowledge of SMDS systems and functionality.
  • English B2-C1.
  • German A2 (desirable).
  • 6 month temporary contract in Blythewood, SC.
