DESCRIPTION
  • Register, update and track failures of the pre-series car routes.
  • Communicate the deviations reported by the quality assurance specialists. 
  • Create work orders for the different stations (USA - MEX), specifying the activities necessary for updating, verifying and tracking the test vehicles. 
  • Participate in monthly virtual meetings with the different quality stations around the world.
  • Evaluate the functionality of the modules and prototype pieces in national and international tests in different climatic conditions and different types of roads.
  • Create preliminary failure analysis of test components and test modules to monitor the analysis and measurements.
  • Upload main failures to the system for their documentation and tracking.
  • Ensure the components update, as well as the test modules in prototype vehicles.
  • Document and deliver follow up reports: Tickets / failure analysis reports and test plans. 
  • Verify the ECUs software version for every project.
  • Ensure that the SW is up to date before each test run and shipment. 
  • Download the System42 lists and compare them with VR
  • Function evaluations for pre-series vehicles for each ECU SW update, depending on the location, the evaluation could be in Mexico or EE.UU.
  • Installing dataloggers in prototype vehicles.
  • Collecting datalogger information.
  • Uploading and sharing the information of the dataloggers to the specialists. 
  • Updating the configuration of dataloggers.
  • Receive comments from the specialists regarding the vehicles´ status and inform staff in weekly meetings.
  • Compare the status of test vehicles with domestic lists released by Technical Development.
  • Communicate the changes made to the pieces to update prototype units according to VR.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electric Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automotive Design or related.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge in electric automotive systems 
  • Knowledge in ECU communications.
  • Fluent English (must be able to have a conversation).
