DESCRIPTION
  • Evaluate the supplier’s performance to meet the customer quality targets
  • Oversee the industrialization of electric and electronics components
  • Work along with suppliers to meet all needed activities and avoid deviation
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes and identify potential issues
  • Participate with supplier in the different events: Pre-series, series, capacity check, ISIR, buy offs and Q-checks
  • Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and follow up / validation of actions
  • Carry out supplier qualification and requalification on time
  • Detect and promptly inform about potential risks
  • Gather information and ensure all documentation is uploaded into the corresponding platforms
  • Participate actively in regular meetings to provide status to top management and project reviews

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor´s degree in Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering or related
  • 5 to 7 years of experience inside the Automotive Industry with knowledge in quality, quality systems, quality assurance, and manufacturing processes (electric and electronics components)
  • Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (VDA, IATF16949 and/or ISO 9001)
  • Strong knowledge of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA
  • Good knowledge of quality processes and quality tools
  • Good knowledge of measurement techniques, GD&T
  • Certified Quality auditor under ISO 19011 or VDA 6.3 (desirable)
  • Handling of KPIs and reporting
  • Gather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirements
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing)
  • Willing to travel within Mexico
  • Fluent English
