E/E Quality Engineer

DESCRIPTION
  • Verification of the implementation of product/process specifications, test instructions, as well as process regulations and quality regulations.
  • Perform the evaluation of supplier’s parts within the different commodities
  • Ensure and assess the acceptance of supplied parts quality according the standards through of inspections, audits, etc.
  • Validate timelines, deliveries and all requirements are met during the different steps of the launch process
  • Check the status of capability study results, FMEA measures implementation, special characteristics assurance.
  • Review new quality specification releases with process partners, their implementation timeline and define responsibilities.
  • Maturity evaluation of individual build phase, including changes (engineering and process changes).
  • Coordinate activities with process and production associates regarding first part releases for each build phase.
  • Execution of traceability stress tests within the scope of validation events – hardware (e.g. on parts) and software (information telegrams).
  • Status monitoring and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
  • 3+ years of experience inside the industry with knowledge in quality, quality systems, quality assurance, production and/or similar positions
  • Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001)
  • Good knowledge of problem-solving tools (8Ds)
  • Experience with E/E comodities
  • Knowledge in SAP
  • Good knowledge of production process and product release
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing) and Six sigma tools
  • Experience with Project Management tools
  • Good knowledge of Non-conforming processes and material management
  • Certified Quality auditor under ISO 19011 (desirable)
  • Handling of KPIs and reporting
  • Gather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirements
  • Fluent English (Conversational level)
  • 6 month contract
